Duane is a Partner at Shenberger Technology in Mercersburg, PA. He has served in leadership and technical roles for over 25 years in the private sector and with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
He has been responsible for cybersecurity risk management, policy development, continuity of operations, and investigative tasks, including conducting hundreds of security interviews. He has worked with major academic institutions, investigative agencies, and law firms, providing cybersecurity preparedness and forensic support. Duane has assessed the security posture and compliance with specific security processes and directives of various facilities. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of physical security control systems.
Duane holds a B.S. in Technical Management, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Penetration Tester, a member of the GIAC advisory board, ASIS member, ISACA member, and holds multiple risk management certificates from ISC2. He has developed IT security policies and curricula used by the FBI at the national level.
